Invest in your skin. It’s going to represent you for a very long time. –Linden Tyler
For a year now, I haven’t been purchasing any new products to try out in order to go through what I have now on my shelf. I also tried to stick to products I know works well with my skin. But this winter, my skin got extremely dry and an enormous amount of pimples started to appear on my face for no reason and a sale associate at Sephora suggest the Becca Skin Love glow nectar.
So this product is more on the expensive end of the spectrum, costing 68$ for 30 ml and I don’t know if I would repurchase it necessarily. I have mixed feelings about it and I feel like I could still find a better product maybe.
I applied the “serum” twice a day so in the morning and then at night, always following with a moisturizer.
On days I did not wear any makeup, this product was great. It gave me a little glow and hydrated my skin. And a few drops would go a long way. The problem would appear when I would put on foundation or concealer. I feel like the foundation/concealer would suck the hydration out after a few hours and start creasing.
Because I do not wear makeup daily, that wasn’t a problem for me but I feel like paying this much money should get you a good product that works with every situation.
Other than that here a little list of things I actually liked about the product:
- Cruelty-free
- Smells amazing
- Works well with any weightless foundations or tints
- I love when products have a dropper
I do have to admit I only exfoliate once a week maybe if I exfoliated more, the hydration would stick better and for a longer time instead of gliding on the dead skin.
Other than the foundation issue, this serum did what he was supposed to do. It’s not a miracle product, so to see a difference you have to use it religiously.
