Solo female travel; the safest countries for you!

In the not so far future, I am planning to solo travel (as a female) somewhere I have never been before. I think it’s a great challenge for me personally given I am so shy and calm, and it will be the perfect occasion to put myself out there. Before I make any plans I wanted to do a bit of research on the safest countries in the world. In order to convince my parents to let me go alone to a whole new place, I need to make sure it’s safe for me to do so. I thought I would share with you a few places I found that would be amazing to discover and can be done alone quite well.

CANADA

I live in Montreal in Canada and have been to many other cities all around the country and I can assure you that it’s extremely safe to be here. No matter the time, I always feel safe outside. You can find everything in Canada, whether it’s a big city or amazing landscapes, you will love it here!

FINLAND

Finland was ranked the safest country in Europe as well as the safest country for female solo travel in the world which is a great start for choosing a country to visit. It’s the best place to visit for nature lovers! Clearly, there’s a reason why it was named the happiest country in the world and you have to experience it personally, words cannot describe it! From the many articles I read, everything there is safe!

SWITZERLAND

Not only is it one of the safest countries, it’s also the most peaceful one! It’s a melting pot of cultures and traditions that you will love! It’s particularly nice during winter time where you can experience the famous Alps!

DENMARK

I was there a few years back with some friends and it was absolutely amazing… Everything from the history to the architecture to the people was to die for. I felt extremely save there and I would totally go back there alone if I have a chance! Ever since I went there, I always said that if I ever move out of Canada, Denmark would be my new home!

SINGAPORE

This vibrant city is also very safe. Unlike the other counties, people don’t tend to think that it’s a safe place. Not only it’s safe but they say you don’t even need a guide in order to discover the city and the chance of you getting harassed on the streets are almost nonexistent.

Do you know any other countries that are safe for solo travellers? Have you been on a trip on your own? Let me know in the comments down below!
